Mr. Lawson is responsible for all activities at Numina Finance including portfolio management, risk analysis, operations and strategic planning. In addition, Mr. Lawson is President of NFSC's subsidiary, First Recovery, an entity that acquires distressed assets. Prior to Numina Finance, Mr. Lawson was a Principal with two entities that acquired distressed assets, and was a Vice President-portfolio manager with AMRESCO responsible for a $100 Million portfolio. He has over 22 years of experience in distressed asset and/or high risk credit management. Mr. Lawson has a M.S. Finance and a B.S. Computer Science from Texas A&M University.

Mr. Garcia served as President of Numina Finance for 14 years. He is responsible for all accounting functions, budgeting, strategic planning, operations and financial reporting. Prior to NFSC, Mr. Garcia was a Principal with two entities that acquired distressed assets, and was a Sr. Vice President-District Manager for AMRESCO supervising a group of 5 Asset Managers responsible for over $150 Million in assets. Mr. Garcia has over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, banking, and asset management. Mr. Garcia earned a B.B.A. Accounting from Texas A&I University.

Mr. Carstens is responsible for marketing, portfolio management, due diligence, and negotiating and documenting transactions. Prior to NFSC, Mr. Carstens was a Marketing Representative for a national finance company, a Vice President-Portfolio Manager for AMRESCO responsible for a $30 Million + portfolio of loans, and an Asset Manager with the FDIC's Division of Liquidation. Mr. Carstens has over 30 years of experience in banking & finance, collateral analysis, and distressed asset management. Mr. Carstens received an Accounting Degree from Minnesota West Community and Technical College.

David Epperson
Mr. Epperson has background in operational improvement, strategic development, turnaround management and venture finance. He has worked independently and with leading consultancies, including McKinsey & Company, advising clients in the mining, petroleum, chemical, building materials and technology industries. In the public sector, Mr. Epperson has served as General Counsel to the Texas House Judicial Affairs Committee, and was a co-author of the 2008 report of the Legislative Study Committee on Private Participation in Toll Projects. Mr. Epperson received an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and completed studies at the London Business School. He earned a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a BA from Baylor University. He is also a Resident Fellow of the Center for Finance Strategy Innovation at the University of Texas at Dallas.
